Who performs the treatment?

Fully licensed Canadian physicians experienced in performing TPI provide the treatment. This treatment cannot be provided by other health professionals, although at times you may meet Clinical Assistants at the MuscleMD clinic who will be helping with gathering of information and coordinating your visit.

It is important to distinguish that TPI is a medical procedure performed by doctors only, and involves the injection of local anaesthetic. It is not the same as acupuncture or IMS.​
