Referral information for doctors

Please provide as much relevant clinical information as possible when sending a referral and include any related investigations/results/consults.

Please ensure that the patient has been investigated for any concerning symptoms or conditions, and that these have been excluded prior to referral to the MuscleMD Clinic.

For example if a patient has back pain with neurological symptoms or red flags, appropriate investigations should have been performed to exclude cauda equina or nerve root compromise, and these results should be enclosed in the referral package.

Please note: WorkSafeBC claim-related cases cannot be referred without prior WorkSafe approval.
